The Benchmade Bugout 535TN-2601 is a seasonal release of the ultralight AXIS Lock platform — the same 1.85-oz Bugout geometry paired with Elmax stainless and a tan Cerakote finish over taiga green Grivory scales, offered for a limited production window before this configuration is retired.

The blade is Elmax, a Bohler-Uddeholm powder-metallurgy stainless with a finer grain structure than CPM-S30V — it takes a sharper initial edge, holds it through sustained daily use, and resists corrosion comparably to CPM-S35VN. The tan Cerakote finish protects the blade surface and reduces reflectivity in outdoor and field environments. The taiga green Grivory handle scales maintain the Bugout's sub-2-oz weight and wire-clip carry profile while giving this seasonal variant its own visual identity — the earth-tone tan and green combination reads outdoor and field-appropriate rather than tactical or urban. AXIS Lock deploys and closes one-handed from either side; reversible tip-up wire clip for ambidextrous carry.
