The Case Mini Trapper is a less bulky adaptation of the Trapper, one of the most outstanding designs to date. The knife has two blades of matching length.  The 48948 Case Jade Bone (6207SS) Mini Trapper Knife has clip and Spey blades made of Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel with nail nicks for opening. The clip point blade is meant for general cutting, such as slicing food, cutting twine, whittling, etc. The Spey blade was an essential tool for farmers and ranchers who castrated livestock with it. It was also a favoured tool for skinning game, and this versatile blade shape can be found in many popular knife patterns such as the Trapper. The Jade Bone handle, 3 1/2 inches closed, has the Tested XX Dog Bone Shield and nickel silver bolsters. The Case Mini Trapper Knife weighs 2.7 ounces. It is made in the USA.
