The dagger blade of this UTX-85 model is finished in black. The blue anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has a glass breaker tip, pocket clip, and black polished hardware.

The UTX-85 model has been improved and updated by Microtech. With rounded handle faces and grooves all over the sides for a better grip, it boasts enhanced ergonomics. The glass breaker has a ball-tip placed in the trip-angle pattern base to improve its everyday carry etiquette, and the firing button has been altered to increase surface contact for successful engagement.
