MicroTech UTX-85 D/E (232-1 DLCTULS) 3.125" MAGNACUT Black Double Edged Dagger Plain Blade, Ultem Front, Black Aluminum Back Handel with Glass Breaker
The blade of this UTX-85 model is made of Magnacut steel with smooth flats and a plain edge. Glass breaker tip, pocket clip, and tactical black polished hardware are all included on the 6061-T6 aluminum and Ultem handle.
The UTX-85 model has been updated and improved by Microtech. With contoured handle faces and patches of grooves around the sides to guarantee a good grip, it has improved ergonomics. The glass breaker has a ball-tip set in the trip-angle pattern base to boost its everyday carry manners, and the firing button has been altered to increase surface contact for successful engagement.
The UTX-85 is a scaled-down version of the Ultratech platform that is just 85% of its length. If you want a smaller EDC knife, the UTX-85 is a desirable option.
