Flytanium Tritium Titanium Ball Cage Lock for Spyderco Manix 2 (1195SG) - Stonewash / Green

Flytanium has released a titanium ball cage lock that fits the Manix 2 and Manix 2 XL (excluding the lightweight models with pin construction). It is available in standard silver titanium, black, or color anodized finish and weighs 0.08 oz., making it a light but secure replacement for your stock plastic lock.

Once you install the new ball cage lock on your knife, there may be a slight break-in period before it wears into adequate shape. Take some time to play around with your new lock and have fun doing so!

About Tritium:

Tritium is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen that, when combined with phosphor, emits light. Tritium is a low energy beta emitter which means it is totally safe to handle as the particles are unable to penetrate skin. Should you eat it? Absolutely not you madman. The tritium vials glow without the need for external power sources or recharging. Over long periods of time, tritium will glow slightly less - half as bright every 12.32 years to be exact.

Glow Rhino tritium is regulated by the nuclear regulatory commission. They may not be disassembled my anyone other than glow rhino which holds the necessary licenses. Any attempt to disassemble or repair will void any warranty.

Installation of the ball cage lock requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high quality torx bit set to remove the screws and pivots. The pivot and lanyard tube can be tough to remove. There are some good informational videos on YouTube if you need more instructions or email us.
