How to Strop a Pocket Knife 

To give your blade a sharp edge, start by applying a light coat of compound to the strop. Align the blade edge with the padding of the strop and pull it across in a backward motion, ensuring that the angle remains consistent throughout. Use gradual pressure as you pass through, switching sides every 7-10 draws. As you sharpen, monitor your progress until you achieve an optimal hair popping sharpness.
