The Benchmade Meatcrafter 15500-04 is the large-format field and processing Meatcrafter — a 6.09-inch CPM-154 trailing point in a green Santoprene handle, built for hunters and processors who need full-length knife performance with a grip that holds in wet, cold, and bloody field conditions.

The blade is CPM-154, the Crucible Particle Metallurgy version of 154CM. CPM-154's finer, more uniform carbide distribution delivers better edge retention than standard 154CM under sustained processing work — it holds a slicing edge longer between stropping when breaking down multiple animals or processing large quantities of meat. The trailing point profile sweeps the tip above the centerline, concentrating the belly for the long, controlled slicing strokes that characterize efficient meat processing and skinning. At 6.09 inches, this blade length handles elk, moose, and large game field processing without the restriction of the compact 15505. The green Santoprene handle is rubber-overmolded for positive grip with wet or bloody hands, in any temperature, with or without gloves — the handle won't become slick or absorb contaminants over time. A sheath is included for safe carry in the field.
