INTERNATIONAL POLICY

 

ALL INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING HAS BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

 

We are responsible, as a company, for selling, process your order, and ship it out as soon as possible. We have been shipping international packages for more than 10 years. We are generally doing our best to work with every customer and make everyone’s shopping experience enjoyable. 

 All International orders are taken care of by our international sales representative:

Our main goal is to make sure every customer is comfortable while shopping with us. We, at Knifeworks Inc., strive to make our customers feel confident with each purchase.  CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!  We guarantee if you do not receive your order, you will receive your money back 

 

International Sales & Orders

 

The following terms are required for all international orders.

  • $100.00 minimum order before shipping and handling are applied.
  • Additional weight and Insurance fee will be added to the order and charged once the order has been processed. If paying with a credit card, additional charges will automatically be taken from your account.
  • All new customers who choose a credit card for first time payment will be emailed to verify this purchase.   NO EXCEPTIONS!!
  • For existing customers who have not placed an order with us within a year, or using a different credit card from previous orders will be emailed to verify the purchase with their bank.  Please be aware of the email incoming in your inbox This requirement may be adjusted by our Sales Rep.
  • Shipping address and Billing address must be the same country.  For returning customers who need to ship to different than billing please contact sales rep before to confirm the changes of address.
  • All International orders can be changed within 2 business days after placing the order, or before the status of the order is changed to “Complete” After that the order cannot be changed. 
  • If none of the above requirements are met, we will cancel your order immediately.
  • Customers are responsible to know about the laws of their country.  We do not calculate International Duties and Taxes for the countries we ship to.  Our shipping fees include the cost of the purchase order leaving the USA only and it is eligible to be returned to the sender if non-delivery. It is also your responsibility to know what is and is not legal to import to the country you’re residing in.
  • Orders that are processed, packaged, and ready to be completed and are requested to be cancelled by the customer’s request will be charged A 25% cancellation fee plus any reasonable charges or expenses from commitments made from Knifeworks. Please note this will only be assessed and charged for large items ordered and items that are in large quantities or special ordered for the customer.  No exceptions.

  • Western Union (Sales representative will contact the customer for updated subtotal and instructions to send money via Western Union)
  • Bank Wire Transfer (Click here for more info) (Sales Representative will contact customer with directions to wire payment)

 

  • If choosing MONEY ORDER as a payment option, you MUST put the payment of choice you wish to pay with, i.e. Bank Wire Transfer or Western Union.  If nothing is in the notes when we receive your order, you must be aware we will contact you by email, allowing 2 weeks to pass until we cancel the order if no response is given.  Credit cards will only be processed through our website.  If you are having problems placing the order with a credit card, please contact our international team to help you. You can input the payment method on the optional customer notes when placing the order online.  All credit card payments must be processed online by inputting the card information in the payment method data at checkout.  
  • All customers choosing the MONEY ORDER will be contacted by our sales representative for inquiry into what payment method the customer wants to proceed with.  The sales representative will contact you upon receipt of the order.  
  •  If there is no response, we will immediately cancel the order 14 days after the customer has been contacted by email.  If you still do not have an email show up in your account please contact  internationalhelp@knifeworks.com by email.

International Shipping /Insurance

 

DHL EXPRESS 

 

  • The starting rate will be $45.00.  Depending on the quote made when processing your order, it will be possible that the shipping cost will be reduced, and the customer will be refunded.  If any additional payment over $45.00 is required, we will contact the customer to confirm shipping costs.
  • DHL Packages are only sent out once a week on Friday mornings.  They are dropped off by our company to an authorized drop off location. 
  • All tracking numbers will be sent to the customer on the date the package leaves Knifeworks.
  • Tracking will update on weekdays; DHL Express does not transport the packages on weekends.
  • Shipping Time: DHL Express shipments will have a very fast and reliable delivery time with full tracking. Typically, it’s a 3 to 7 business day eta anywhere in the world.
  • We can’t guarantee delivery times as customs clearance can hold up any shipment. Customs will vary from country to country.

USPS Priority Mail Express International

  • Shipping costs start at $57.95 for the first pound, $5.00 per additional pound.
  • Insurance fee starts at $2.50/$100.00 value.
  • Additional weight and Insurance fee will be applied to your order and charged to your payment method on file once the order begins processing.
  • Shipping Time: The carrier advertises the time is 3-7 business days to customs

  • Please be aware the package is no longer in Knifeworks hands when your package ships, and we can't hold responsibility for the time it takes to arrive or update on the tracking of carrier’s website.
  • The time from customs to your postal center, then to your door will vary by country.
  • Refunds of postage are not available through Knifeworks if the package is not moving in the advertised time of delivery.
  • Claims are eligible for this shipping method if the package is not delivered within 30 days of the date it left our warehouse. Please see Lost, Damage or Shortage of your order

USPS Priority Mail International

  • Shipping costs start at $45.95 for the first pound, $5.00 per additional pound.
  • Insurance fee starts at $2.50/$100.00 value.
  • Additional weight and Insurance fee will be applied to your order and charged to your payment method on file once the order begins processing.
  • Shipping Time:  The carrier advertises 6-10 business days to customs. The time from customs to your postal center, then to your door will vary by country.

USPS First Class Mail International

  • The maximum weight is 4.0 lbs.
  • The value of the merchandise cannot exceed $400.00.
  • Maximum dimension:  Max length 24 in., length, height, and depth combined must not be over 36 in.
  • Shipping cost starts at $21.95 for the first pound, $5.00 per additional half pound.
  • Insurance fee starts at $2.50/$100.00 value.
  • Additional weight and Insurance fee will be applied to your order and charged to your account once the order process has started.
  • Shipping Time: Please understand if you choose this option to be your shipping method as it is not Priority, the delivery time will take up to 3 weeks or longer. We cannot guarantee delivery time for this shipping method. It is cheap and works well with some countries.  If you choose this shipping method, please do not complain about delivery time. 

  • If the package of your order is over 4 lbs. or the size of the package is over the maximum dimensions listed above, our sales rep will email you regarding this. There are three options that you can choose from:

1.Upgrade the shipping of your order to USPS Priority Mail Express International, USPS Priority Mail International or DHL Express. 

2.Change your order to be smaller to meet the requirements to ship via USPS First Class Mail International.

3.Cancel your entire order.

Canada Shipping /Insurance

 

DHL EXPRESS - Estimated Arrival Time: 2-4 Business Days.

USPS Priority Mail Express International (CANADA ONLY)

 

  • Shipping cost starts at $41.95 for the first pound, $5.00 per additional pound.
  • Insurance fee starts at $2.50/$100.00 value.
  • Additional weight and Insurance fee will be applied to your order and charged to your account once the order process has started.
  • Shipping Time: The carrier guarantees 3-7 business days to customs. We cannot guarantee delivery time from customs to your postal center, then to your door. 

USPS First Class Mail International (CANADA ONLY)

    • If the order shipping international comes to us with one of the above restricted brands, the customer will be contacted by email by sales representative, to replace or refund. These are due to the corporate policy of the manufacturer, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Europe (includes general)
In various countries of the European Union acts different legislation from a complete ban on import knives with a fixed or lockable blade one-handed opening and to the absence of restrictions on the knife products. Please refer to the laws of your country.

 

Defective / Warranty, Return / Refund

 

Lost, Damage or Shortage of your order

We apply insurance fees to the customer’s order if shipping USPS to cover your packages cost items if the following applies to your package while Each mail class varies on eligibility. 

  • USPS First Class Mail International If the package is lost for 20 days but not over 29 days in transit.
  • USPS Priority Mail International   If the package is lost for 20 days but not over 29 days in transit.
  • USPS Priority Express Mail International    If the package is lost for 20 days but not over 29 days in transit.
  • Damaged or missing / stolen items upon arrival    Contact a sales representative immediately.

Charged Back / Disputed

  • In case the customer files charged back to us before we have a chance to solve the problem of the order. We will immediately close the customer’s account and they won’t be able to place orders with us anymore.
  • In case the customer opens the dispute with Paypal before we have a chance to solve the problem of the order, any dispute has cost us $20.00 for that. We will immediately close the customer’s account and they won’t be able to place orders with us anymore.
