Carpenter® Technology's Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel that is especially engineered to give both outstanding wear resistance and toughness, is included in this limited-edition Sprint Run expression of the Dragonfly 2. The CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, which guarantees an ultra-fine, exceptionally homogenous grain structure, further enhances the superior alloy composition of the product. This high-performance steel, which is the basis of the knife's full-flat-ground PlainEdgeTM blade, functions similarly to CPM® CRU-WEAR®.

This elite Dragonfly 2 is even more unique thanks to its deep burgundy injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) grip and non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating on the blade. Its lock bar, handle hardware, and reversible deep-pocket wire clip all have sturdy black coatings to go along with this gorgeous black-and-burgundy theme.
