The Benchmade Mini Crooked River 15085-2 is the compact version of Benchmade's most popular hunting folder — a 3.40-inch CPM-S30V drop point with AXIS Lock and a stabilized wood and aluminum handle that brings traditional hunting knife aesthetics to a modern locking mechanism and steel.

The blade is CPM-S30V, satin finished with a hollow grind. CPM-S30V holds a working edge through field dressing, skinning, and camp tasks without the brittleness of harder steels, and resists corrosion in wet hunting environments without requiring a coating. The drop point keeps the tip strong for controlled piercing during field dressing while the long belly handles skinning strokes efficiently. The stabilized wood handle provides warm, traditional aesthetics with the dimensional stability of a processed material — it won't swell, crack, or check with seasonal moisture changes the way raw wood will. Aluminum bolsters reinforce the handle ends and add balance. The AXIS Lock deploys and closes one-handed from either side — ambidextrous carry for right- or left-handed hunters.
