The Yellow Handle CS is made with Chrome Vanadium Blades (CS) - a special formula of alloyed cutlery steel known for its ease of re-sharpening. However, the composition that makes the steel easier to sharpen, also makes it rust easier. Extra care is needed with CS. A thin film of oil should be kept on the blade at all times to maintain the finish of the steel.)
