By combining the distinctive curves of the Trapper with the profile of the Copperhead, he created an entirely new pattern — the Copperlock. It had the cutting power and security of a lockback with the look and feel of a traditional Case pocket knife, and collectors fell for it immediately. The 13319 is the smooth natural bone version, one of the most classic configurations in the Copperlock lineup. Natural bone gives the handle a warm, creamy tone with natural grain variation that makes every knife unique — no two look exactly alike, which is part of what makes it worth carrying.
The blade is a 3.25-inch locking Wharncliffe — pattern 61549WL SS. The Wharncliffe profile runs a straight cutting edge parallel to the spine, terminating in a precise, strong tip built for controlled detail work, box cutting, food prep, and everyday utility tasks where tip accuracy matters most. It is Tru-Sharp Surgical Stainless Steel with a mirror polish, opened with a nail nick, and locked securely open with a stainless steel backlock.
