Product Description
With its unsharpened blade, the Trainer lets you familiarize yourself with a karambit with reduced risk, perfect for first responders who need to know their tools like the back of their hands before going into high-pressure situations. Otherwise, the Trainer is every bit a Provoke®, featuring the same innovative Kinematic® technology to keep the blade neatly and safely tucked away until the moment it's needed.
Designed by Joe Caswell, the Provoke Trainer features a 2.48" hawkbill style blade crafted from 420J2 stainless steel with a durable stonewashed finish. The edges are purposefully dull and the tip is blunted to allow for high-speed deployment practice and defensive maneuver training without the danger of a live blade. The ergonomics are defined by a vibrant blue Grivory handle—a high-strength, lightweight thermoplastic—which serves as a visual indicator that the tool is a dedicated trainer. It includes the signature flush-mounted pocket clip that activates with light thumb pressure, ensuring you can practice your draw exactly as you would with the standard Provoke models.
