ESEE-Fire Steel (ESEE-FIRE-STEEl)- 1095

The ESEE Knives Fire Steel is constructed from 1095 carbon steel and heat treated for use as a fire-making instrument for use with real flint and burned-over materials. The Fire Steel's edges can be used as Ferrocerium (Ferro) rod strikers, and the center divot can be used as a socket for a bow drill. A container with a hinged lid that can be used to manufacture char cloth or other charred materials holds the Fire Steel when it is packed.
