The Extrema Ratio Praetorian Gloria U.S.A. 250th is a limited edition fixed blade marking the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence — one of 50 individually numbered pieces produced worldwide, with no second production run planned. Each knife is stamped and foam-matched to its serial number inside a custom commemorative box.

The blade is Böhler N690 stainless steel at 58 HRC — an Austrian steel known for a strong balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance in tactical fixed blade applications. At 7.00" with a black burnishing finish, the blade carries Extrema Ratio's departure from their usual engraving tradition: for nearly thirty years the brand has engraved Latin phrases on their blades, and this edition replaces that with four words from the Declaration of Independence — "WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS" — deeply engraved on the left side of the blade alongside the Extrema Ratio and Made in Italy marks. The right side carries the individual serial number (01 through 50) and the Praetorian Gloria scrollwork engraving.

The handle is black G10 over a full tang chassis, built on Extrema Ratio's Praetorian platform. The knife ships in a custom presentation box laser-engraved with the Praetorian Gloria logotype, the dual dates 1776 · 2026, and the U.S.A. 250th designation, with precision-cut black foam matched to the piece number. The black Kydex sheath with high-strength nylon textile backing ships in separate packaging alongside the boxed knife.
