Specifically engineered for high current, high drain devices, the Fenix ARB-L16-700UP 16340 lithium-ion battery is an excellent accessory for all current Fenix 16340 (RCR123) powered lights. The benefits of using this battery in Fenix high drain devices can be summed up simply as follows: by maintaining a greater voltage, the devices will operate at their peak performance levels for longer. Moreover, a protective circuit in the anode helps guard against overcharging, overdischarge, and short circuits. Through its USB port, this battery can be swiftly charged without the use of an additional charger. By doing this, you avoid having to buy a charger and save money by not having to carry about an additional device.
