The Tanto was originally a short sword carried by Japanese Samurai as a backup and self-defense weapon. The Ryu Tactical Tanto is a modern-day imagining of that historical blade. The uncomplicated straight blade excels in self-defense but performs well in most other tasks. The grippy handles are ergonomically designed with several finger grooves to lock the blade into your hand. The handles are available in several materials and all versions come with a Kydex belt sheath.
