Though it's a folding knife, the Fred Perrin La Griffe Pliante friction folding neck knife is essentially the same size and design as the iconic Emerson La Griffe. Sleek black G10 handles complement the knife's 440C stainless steel blade, which has been stonewashed to disguise wear and scratches. With a double-ground blade that makes resharpening easy, it has a very robust but lightweight construction. The blade is not locked, but it has an index finger hole for an extremely secure grip, and the user's thumb secures the tab on the tang of the blade to create a strong lockup. With the sheath, the weight of this amazing friction folder/neck knife is 4.8 ounces.
