The 2.4-inch drop point blade is crafted from high-carbon 420HC stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and a finish that is easy to maintain. Both the blade and the rugged glass-filled nylon (GFN) handle are built for durability, with the blade featuring a non-reflective stonewashed finish to hide wear and tear. Deployment is instantaneous thanks to the patented SpeedSafe® assisted opening system, which can be activated by the integrated flipper or ambidextrous thumb studs. For maximum safety, the Scallion features a dual-locking system: a secure steel liner lock to keep the blade open during use, and a Tip-Lock slider to ensure the blade stays safely closed while in your pocket.
