The 1670BLKMAG, like all Blurs, has a large, slightly recurved blade that's perfect for multitasking. The design of the blade allows for superior piercing and slicing skills. The premium CPM-MagnaCut blade that comes with this Blur is both aesthetically pleasing and practical.

The robust 6061-T6 anodized aluminum used to make the handle is sometimes referred to as "aircraft aluminum" because it is frequently used for aviation fittings. Because of its exceptional durability, light weight, and good anodization, Kershaw is able to produce colorful handles that are especially robust and resistant to scratches. Extra-secure grip is offered with Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts. During operation, the Blur's inset liner lock guarantees a secure blade lock up.

For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening. A short push on the thumb stud overcomes the resistance built into the torsion bar in the SpeedSafe mechanism. Then SpeedSafe takes over and the blade moves out of the handle quickly and easily. The pocket clip is reversible for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. There's even a pre-drilled lanyard hole.
