Product Description
Muela Bowie Fixed Blade Knife (MUE92048)- 3.88" Stainless Steel Clip Point Plain Blade, Cocobolo Wood Handle
Eladia Muela Leon founded the Muela company in the middle of the 1950s, inspired by the enormous popularity of his 38-piece, handcrafted folding knive among German engineers at the Empetrol refinery, where Eladio was employed at the time. The same engineers gave him orders for knives that they wanted to take back to their nation, and this, together with his entrepreneurial spirit, gave him the push he needed to start his first factory for handcrafted knives, which employed seven people. The plant was expanded quickly and is now situated in Argamasilla de Calatrava, in Ciudad Real, Spain. The profit made was spent in machinery to increase the factory's productivity. In Argamasilla de Calatrava, the facility has a floor space of more than 5,000 m2, and it is outfitted with the most advanced manufacturing and machining technology. From the moment Muela was established, their high-end, handcrafted, sporting, and tactical hunting knives were exported outside of Spain in addition to being sold throughout Spain. The Muela Group is today one of the world's leading manufacturers of handcrafted hunting knives, both in Spain and elsewhere, and its knives and penknives are well regarded for their superior quality.
