The 2.8" blade is precision-ground from CTS® XHP stainless steel, a high-carbon, high-chromium powder metallurgy steel that is often described as a stainless version of D2. This model features a full-flat grind and a fully serrated SpyderEdge™, providing relentless cutting power in a compact frame. The Gray FRN handle features Spyderco’s signature Bi-Directional Texturing™ for a secure grip, while nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners provide the structural strength for the reliable back lock mechanism.
