The Spyderco Native Chief™ Lightweight C244PCBL is a high-performance evolution of a classic design, upgraded with Spyderco's exclusive CPM® SPY27® stainless steel. Developed in collaboration with Crucible® Industries, this proprietary steel takes the best attributes of legendary Japanese VG-10 and enhances them through the particle metallurgy process for a finer, more homogenous grain structure.

The 4.08" spear-point blade features a full-flat grind to maximize the "sticky sharp" edge characteristics of the SPY27 alloy, providing an elite balance of toughness and corrosion resistance. The handle is injection-molded from Cobalt Blue FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon), the signature color reserved for Spyderco’s elite SPY27 family. Despite its full-sized 4-inch profile, the linerless construction keeps the knife incredibly lightweight and agile, while the precision-machined back lock ensures rock-solid security.
