The Spyderco Subway Bowie™ FB48PBBK is an ultra-compact, professional-grade fixed blade designed by French custom knifemaker and martial artist Fred Perrin. This specialized version takes the "Subway" concept a step further by adding a non-reflective black ceramic coating to its virtually rust-proof blade, making it the ultimate tool for discreet carry and tactical utility in any environment.

The 2.80" blade is saber-ground from LC200N, a high-performance nitrogen-enriched steel that is immune to rust. The addition of the Black Ceramic Coating provides a stealthy finish and an extra layer of protection. The Black FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) handle is molded directly onto the tang and features Fred Perrin’s signature index-finger choil for a secure, "locked-in" grip. Designed primarily as a neck knife, it offers rapid deployment and high-strength performance despite its minimalist footprint.
