TOPS El Chete (TPELCH03) 12" 1095 Midnight Bronze Fixed Blade, Green/Black Canvas Micarta Handle

This blade was made specifically with chopping in mind. It will do that extremely effectively with a blade that is a full foot long and 1/4" thick. The knife weighs less than 2 pounds despite being so big.

TOPS chose to utilize sandwiched Micarta because they wanted the handles to be thick enough to fit each user's hand like a hatchet or small ax handle would. It is well-rounded for comfort, and the addition of the black canvas Micarta beneath the green canvas Micarta enhances the design of this item even more.

With all the bells and whistles, the sheath is designed with an outside appearance. To avoid straining to pull the knife all the way out, you simply pull up slightly before pulling out the front.
