Product Description
The TOPS Lil Chete TPLLCH01 delivers serious chopping performance in a more compact, field-ready size. Designed by Leo Espinoza as a scaled-down evolution of the El Chete, this fixed blade is built for bushcraft, camp work, overlanding, and hunting tasks where mobility matters.
With an 8.38" blade made from 1/4" thick 1095 high carbon steel, the Lil Chete maintains the mass and strength needed for splitting, brush clearing, and fire prep. The wide blade geometry and high grind help move material efficiently while keeping cuts controlled. Despite its heavy-duty build, the shorter profile improves carry comfort and maneuverability in the field.
The green canvas Micarta handle is long and contoured, allowing multiple grip positions for control during chopping and detailed work. Heat treated to RC 56–58, the 1095 carbon steel is tough and easy to maintain in the field with basic sharpening tools. A black Kydex sheath with leather dangler provides secure and versatile carry options.
