The Benchmade Infidel 3300BK is Benchmade's flagship double-action OTF automatic — a 3.91-inch D2 dagger blade that deploys and retracts from the front of the handle with a single slider, built to a tolerance standard that defines what a production OTF can be.

The blade is D2 tool steel with a black coating and a flat-ground double-edged dagger profile. D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium semi-stainless steel that delivers exceptional wear resistance and edge retention — it holds a working edge longer under hard use than fully stainless production steels, at the cost of requiring occasional oiling to prevent surface oxidation. The double-edged dagger geometry provides equal geometry on both edges with a reinforced centered tip. The 6061-T6 aluminum handle is machined to tight tolerances — the Infidel's reputation is built on a lockup and deployment feel that most production OTFs don't approach. Double-action means the same slider deploys and retracts; no separate retraction button.
