The wide 13" black coated stainless steel blade on the Maserin 970 Clavum Machete has a distinctive shape. The forward-curving blade, shaped like a hawkbill or karambit, provides a cutting area ideal for self-defense or clearing brush. To aid in rescue efforts, the blade's back has a cutter incorporated into it. The machete's sturdy Forprene handle has a heavy texturing that makes it easier to hang on to. To give you more choices when carrying it, the handle has lashing holes on it and a Cordura sheath is included.
