Spyderco Ambitious Lightweight C148PBBK - 2.31in 8Cr13MoV Black Plain Blade, Black FRN Handle

The Ambitious is the smallest member of Spyderco’s well-known Value Folder series and is a miniature cutting tool that can compete with full-sized knives. In its lightweight configuration, it uses injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) for the handle scales instead of the G-10 scales of the original model. The FRN handle has a textured surface for a more secure grip. The Ambitious Lightweight Black Blade edition takes this evolution one step further by using a black oxide coating on the blade to make it less visible and more difficult to reflect light. The handle’s full skeletonized stainless steel liners, four-position pocket clip, and other hardware also have black coatings. You can choose between a PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge blade, and both configurations come with a LinerLock mechanism to lock the blade in place during use.
