Spyderco C103TR P'Kal Trainer
A defensive tool is useless without the skills to use it properly and effectively. And the best way to develop those skills is with proper training equipment. The P’Kal Trainer is mechanically identical to the live-blade P’Kal—including its high-strength Ball Bearing Lock and removable post-style Emerson Opening feature—but has a blunted edge and rounded point to allow safe contact with a training partner. The 440C stainless steel blade has multiple holes that make its weight very comparable to the live version and, along with its bright red G-10 handles, clearly identify it a training tool. Like the live-blade P’Kal, it includes a reversible wire clip that is fully configurable for any tip-up carry position, allowing you to integrate all phases of your training—carry, deployment, and contact tactics—into a seamless flow.
