The latest addition to Spyderco’s industry-leading Salt Series is the Native 5 Salt, a dynamic fusion of the best-selling Native 5 Lightweight and the extraordinary rustproof qualities of a nitrogen-based blade steel. The differentiating feature of this knife is its full-flat- ground blade,CPM MagnaCut blade.  Available with either a PlainEdge™ or SpyderEdge™ cutting edge, the blade is complemented with a lightweight, injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle; blackened hardware and a precision-machined high-strength back lock mechanism. A broad-based four-position pocket clip can be affixed for left or right hand carry in a tip-up or tip-down position. The handle comes in the characteristic high-visibility yellow color found throughout the Spyderco Salt Series line and is molded with a Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern and features a lanyard, safeguarding a slip-free grip both in and out of the water.
