The Boker Daily Knives AK1, a collaboration between the young and talented knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, is a small yet incredibly versatile everyday knife. It has gained a cult following thanks to its impressive design and functionality as an EDC (Everyday Carry) tool.

The Vision of Alex Kremer

Alex Kremer, born in Fulda in 1993, began his journey into knifemaking at the tender age of 18. His passion for the craft is evident in every blade he creates. Inspired by his adventurous tours across the expansive landscapes of Scandinavia, Kremer's designs capture the essence of functionality and beauty.

The Blade: Short Reverse Tanto

The AK1 is equipped with a distinctive short reverse tanto blade, crafted from powder metallurgical CPM MagnaCut steel. This high-performance steel boasts a hardness of 61-62 HRC, offering a perfect blend of high corrosion resistance and excellent edge retention. This makes the AK1 an ideal companion for both urban settings and rugged outdoor adventures.

Ergonomic and Customizable Handle

The handle scales of the AK1 are ergonomically shaped for comfort and made from Ultem, a high-performance thermoplastic. This material not only provides a semi-transparent amber aesthetic but also ensures a comfortable grip. The scales can be easily dismantled with the supplied torx-key, allowing for customization with various alternative scales developed in collaboration with Daily Customs.

Additionally, the intricately manufactured lanyard hole at the handle's end can be reversed when the scales are removed, allowing it to disappear into the handle for a streamlined appearance. This feature, made entirely of MagnaCut, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and adaptability to user needs.

Practical and Elegant Carrying Options

Supplied with a premium black leather sheath, the AK1 is equipped with a sewn-in Ulticlip. This clever addition allows the knife to be securely attached to a pocket hem with its locking spring clip, ensuring easy and quick access. The knife can be withdrawn smoothly while the sheath remains securely in place, thanks to the Ulticlip.
