The Case 55231 is a 30th Anniversary Mini Trapper built on the classic 6207 SS pattern — two blades, 3.5 inches closed, and Pocket Worn Mahogany Bone handles with a corn cob jig texture that gives them the worn-in feel of a knife that's been carried for years. The fluted bolsters set this version apart from standard Mini Trappers and mark it as part of Case's 30th Anniversary Pocket Worn series.

Both the Clip and Spey blades are mirror-polished Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel — Case's workhorse blade material, known for holding a reliable edge and being easy to resharpen. The Clip blade handles detail work and general cutting; the Spey was traditionally used for skinning and is still one of the most versatile blade shapes in a traditional pocket knife. Both open with nail nicks and close with a slip joint. Weight is 2.7 oz — light enough to disappear in a pocket.

The Pocket Worn finish means the handles have been tumbled to simulate years of carry, giving them a smooth, broken-in feel straight out of the box.
