Expat, a world-renowned adventurer, trainer, and world traveler, collaborated with ESSE Knives on the CL-1 Cleaver. Expat wanted to create a robust outdoor tool made to thrive in challenging conditions after working in some of South America's worst jungle environments. The blade of this ingenious design is made of full-tang 1095 carbon steel and has a tumbled black oxide finish. The blade's long, flat edge and curved tip make it ideal for dismantling anything. G-10 scales with rounded edges provide a cozy, safe grip. The pommel's extended tang features a lanyard hole opening and acts as a striking element. Object comes with a leather blade cover.
