This is a manual knife, even if the Extreme series has a button lock mechanism. Allen Elishewitz is the designer of the Extreme series. The knives are really well made, have a nice appearance, and perform flawlessly.
Anodized black, the handle is made of 6061 T6 aluminum. The basic 154-CM drop point style stone-wash finished blade has an extremely sharp edge. With a smooth, polished edge, the blade emerges and uses a button lock mechanism to lock into position. For added security, there is a safety mechanism affixed to the front that locks the blade open. There's also a reversible pocket clip for convenience of carry.
