The Spyderco Lil' Temperance™ 3 Lightweight is a compact powerhouse designed by co-founder Sal Glesser to deliver "big knife" performance in a pocket-friendly format. Originally conceived as a heavy-duty defensive tool, this latest evolution prioritizes pure utilitarian function and extreme durability for everyday carry.

The 2.92" leaf-shaped blade is precision-ground from VG-10 stainless steel, a high-performance Japanese alloy renowned for its excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Despite its compact length, the blade features a stout 0.157" (4mm) thickness and a full-flat grind for superior cutting geometry. The handle is constructed from injection-molded Black FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) with Bi-Directional Texturing™ for a slip-resistant grip. Built on nested stainless steel liners, the high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism ensures rock-solid security and safe, one-handed operation.
