The Spyderco Military™ 2 C36GPCBL2 is an elite evolution of a legendary duty-bound folder, now upgraded with Spyderco’s proprietary CPM® SPY27® stainless steel. Developed in close collaboration with Crucible® Industries, SPY27 enhances the time-tested chemistry of VG-10 with increased levels of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium, refined through the particle metallurgy process. The result is a 4-inch blade with a remarkably homogenous microstructure that maximizes edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance.

This second-generation design features significant ergonomic and structural upgrades, most notably the high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and expanded skeletonized stainless steel liners. To distinguish this model as a member of Spyderco’s premier SPY27 family, the handle is outfitted with Cobalt Blue peel-ply textured G-10 scales.
