Buck warrants that each knife is free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the knife. If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, Buck will repair or replace it with a new knife, or an equivalent model if the original is retired, at their discretion. Not covered: normal wear and tear (expected edge dulling, blade scratches, cosmetic surface patina, natural aging of wood handles), misuse or abuse (using the knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, chisel, or hammer), unauthorized modifications (altering the knife, aftermarket changes, or unauthorized disassembly, which void coverage), and neglect (rust or corrosion from improper cleaning, lack of oil, or exposure to harsh elements). Claims process: complete Buck's official Warranty & Service Form from their website, package the knife securely with the completed form, and ship it via a trackable carrier to Buck Knives' service facility in Post Falls, Idaho.
