The SCAR Blades Hawkeye Gray is a discontinued, premium fixed blade knife hand built in the USA by SCAR Blades, a small shop founded by two brothers in the Rocky Mountains with a focus on rugged, real world tools rather than mass production. Designed to serve military, law enforcement, and outdoorsmen in harsh conditions, the Hawkeye is prized for its durability, specialized steel, and custom fitted carry setup.
The blade is 3/16" thick 1095 high carbon steel, differentially heat treated so the edge is hardened to RC 58 for maximum sharpness and edge retention, while the spine stays softer to absorb heavy shock without breaking under hard use. The blade carries a gray powder coated finish for corrosion resistance, the same TufCoat style treatment SCAR Blades uses across their lineup.
The handle is non-slip black Micarta with custom ridges built into the grip for secure handling in wet or gloved conditions. Full tang construction runs the steel the complete length of the handle for strength and balance. Each Hawkeye ships in a custom molded Kydex sheath, individually fitted by hand to that specific knife, with multiple tie down points for flexible carry positioning.
Since SCAR Blades knives are hand built rather than mass produced, and this particular model is discontinued, availability is limited and this piece will not be restocked once sold.
