For any covered issue or manufacturing defect within the first 30 days of delivery, Squid Industries covers 100% of replacement parts, repair labor, and shipping costs both ways. After 30 days, warranty labor and maintenance remain free for the lifetime of the product, though the customer is responsible for return shipping and the cost of any non-defect replacement parts. Covered issues include manufacturing defects (loose pins, missing factory parts, incorrect engraving, out-of-the-box cosmetic blemishes) and maintenance/performance issues (tap, handle play, stiff handles, spinning or stuck pivots, stripped hardware). Squid Industries does not sell individual replacement bushings; bushing replacement requires sending the balisong in for warranty service. Unauthorized modifications or conversions void the warranty, as do purchases from unauthorized secondary retailers. Squid Industries may deny service and charge return shipping for items sent in dirty or contaminated condition, and is not liable for items lost, damaged, or stolen in transit to their facility.
