The Morakniv Amberg Full Flat (S) is built for one thing above all, clean cuts. Mora took the full flat grind that has lived on kitchen and food prep knives for generations and put it on a true outdoor blade. The result is a knife that slices through food at the camp kitchen with very little resistance, then turns around and handles light carving and everyday tasks in the field.

The 4.25 in. blade is ground from Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, hardened and cryogenically treated to 58 HRC. That gives you an edge that takes a fine, sharp bevel and holds it, while staying easy to bring back on a stone. The surface is polished, so it wipes clean fast and shrugs off moisture, which matters when you are working with food and game outdoors. One honest note for buyers, the polished spine means this knife is not set up for striking a ferro rod.

Comfort comes from a three component handle with a sturdy polypropylene core wrapped in a softer TPE outer layer. The shape is flatter and narrows toward the front for control and a natural pinch grip, with a fine friction pattern that stays secure when your hands are wet or cold. A finger guard keeps your grip safe behind the edge, and a lanyard hole lets you secure it in camp. The included polymer belt sheath is ambidextrous, so it works the same for right or left handed carry.
