The Benchmade Griptilian 550-S30V is the full-size version of the CPM-S30V sheepsfoot Grip — a 3.45-inch blade with the same steel upgrade over the standard 154CM Griptilian, the same blunt-tip sheepsfoot profile built for professional utility carry, in the larger platform for buyers who need a full-grip folder.

The blade is CPM-S30V, satin finished with a hollow grind. CPM-S30V delivers meaningfully better edge retention than the standard 154CM Griptilian at the same sharpening difficulty — it holds a working edge longer between sessions on a ceramic rod, resists corrosion without a coating, and keeps its edge inspection-clean with the satin finish. The sheepsfoot profile keeps the tip blunt and squared off — the correct choice for EMTs, tradespeople, culinary professionals, and any environment where tip contact with a patient, product, or surface is a liability. The full-size 3.45-inch blade handles tasks that are too large for the Mini at 2.91 inches.
