The blade is ground from Damasteel Damascus — Swedish powder metallurgy Damascus steel in the Nidhogg pattern, 264 layers at 59 HRC (±1). Damasteel is the global benchmark for production Damascus: the pattern is created through precision powder metallurgy processes that produce consistent, beautiful layer expression across the full blade surface. The Nidhogg pattern — named for the Norse serpent of Yggdrasil — delivers a flowing, serpentine Damascus pattern with exceptional visual depth. The drop point profile carries a discreet false edge along the spine near the tip, adding a refined aesthetic detail and reducing tip weight for precise cutting. The handle is machined from Mokuti — a proprietary titanium alloy (Ti-Cu-Zr: titanium with copper and zirconium) whose iridescent violet and blue coloring is inherent to the material itself through the alloy's anodization and heat treatment response. No two Mokuti handles express exactly the same color distribution.
