Product Description
The Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 31 Inlay L31-1124 is the pinnacle of functional art — Bog Oak inlays on a glass blasted 6AL4V titanium chassis, CPM MagnaCut Insingo at 63-64 HRC, hollow grind, Reeve Integral Lock with ceramic ball interface. Where a plain titanium Sebenza is the working knife's Sebenza, the Bog Oak Inlay is the collector's, and at $650.00 with an Insingo blade built for serious cutting, it earns both roles. DOB January 6, 2026 / February 19, 2026. Made in Boise, Idaho.
The blade is ground from CPM MagnaCut at 63-64 HRC — Crucible's particle metallurgy stainless steel engineered to simultaneously deliver edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The Insingo profile is the slicing configuration of the Sebenza 31 lineup: a curved spine sweeping toward a refined tip, delivering a primary edge that engages through the full cutting stroke for food preparation, rope cutting, and the full range of daily utility tasks. The deep hollow grind maximizes the cutting geometry behind the edge. The stonewashed finish wears well through hard carry and use.
The handle pairs glass blasted 6AL4V titanium with stabilized Bog Oak inlays. Bog Oak is wood recovered from ancient bogs, naturally preserved over centuries — the mineral-rich environment darkens the grain and produces figure and color that varies knife to knife, giving each Sebenza a one-of-a-kind look. Glass blasting on the titanium frame gives a smoother, more refined matte surface than sandblasting. The Reeve Integral Lock is machined directly from the titanium frame as an integral component; the ceramic ball interface ensures wear-free, zero-play lockup over a lifetime. Tip-up right carry. Made in Boise, Idaho, USA.
