Demko’s Shark Foot blade runs a straight 3.0" plain edge along a 3.25" blade, a shape that gives good control for push cuts like opening boxes and slicing cord. It is AUS-10A, a high-carbon Japanese stainless steel valued for taking a fine edge and resisting corrosion, 0.13" thick with a stonewashed finish that helps hide everyday scuffs. According to Demko, the Shark-Lock sits on the spine and is operated with a ramp-like fin, and the blade opens by thumb stud or thumb hole. Gray textured Grivory, a glass-fiber-reinforced nylon, covers steel liners for a 0.32" thick handle, and the tip-up clip is set up for right- or left-hand carry. It closes to 4.25", weighs 3.5 oz, and is made in Taiwan.
