An all-black AD20.5: a black-finished D2 Wharncliffe blade, black textured Grivory scales, and Andrew Demko’s Shark-Lock™ on the spine.
The 3.25" blade is D2 tool steel, 0.13" thick, with a black finish and a 3.0" straight plain cutting edge. D2 is often called semi-stainless: it is valued for wear resistance and edge retention, but it can stain more readily than true stainless steels, so keep it clean and dry. The Shark-Lock is operated by a ramp-like fin on the spine, and the knife opens by thumb stud or thumb hole. Black textured Grivory, a glass-fiber-reinforced nylon, covers steel liners for a 0.32" thick handle, and the tip-up clip is set up for right- or left-hand carry. It closes to 4.25", weighs 3.5 oz, and is made in Taiwan to Andrew Demko’s design.
