The ESEE-6HM with gray Micarta and a brown leather belt sheath is the traditional-carry version of ESEE's slimmer 6" hunting and bushcraft knife, built around a 6.00" 1095 carbon steel drop-point blade.
The 6HM takes the ESEE-6 design in a slimmer direction for hunters and bushcrafters who spend more time on controlled cuts than on chopping. ESEE flat grinds the 0.15" thick blade from 1095 carbon steel at 55-57 HRC, a tough, straightforward steel that takes a keen edge and is easy to touch up in the field, and finishes it in black to cut glare. Gray canvas Micarta scales in a traditional handle profile give a secure, comfortable grip for skinning and carving. The brown leather belt sheath gives the knife a classic look and rides quietly on the belt, a good fit for hunters who prefer leather over Kydex.
