The ESEE Candiru Optional Handle is a set of tan Micarta scales made for the ESEE Candiru. Adding them to the Candiru's skeletonized steel handle gives you a firmer, fuller grip and a classic look, and the scales attach and remove easily with Allen screws on both sides.
Micarta is a layered fabric and resin composite with a long track record on field knives. It's tough and stable, and as it breaks in with handling, the surface develops a slightly textured feel that improves grip.
