Product Description
The ESEE Knives Fire Steel is constructed from 1095 carbon steel and heat treated for use as a fire-making instrument with real flint and charred (burned-over) materials. Its edges can be used as Ferrocerium (ferro) rod strikers, and the center divot can be used as a socket for a bow drill.
A container with a hinged lid, which can be used to make char cloth or other charred materials, holds the Fire Steel when it is packed.
