Product Description
ESEE Izula II, Orange, (Knifeworks Exclusive) , Molded SheathThe locals in the Amazon call the meanest, most aggressive ant in the jungle Isula (spelled with an s). The folks at Randall's Adventure & Training know it as the Bullet Ant. The Bullet Ant is known to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor. The IZULA knife is built the same way. After numerous survival trips and expeditions to the Amazon jungles of Peru, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin designed the Izula to be the perfect survival kit or concealed carry knife. As with all ESEE Knives, the all IZULAS are backed by the famous ESEE no questions asked lifetime warranty. If you break it, just send the broken knife back to ESEE for a replacement.

Seriously... Amazing!
You really can not judge a knife by its looks or what you my think it's going to be like. I have been looking at ESEE knifes for years now and finally decided to get this one first, as a trial run. The micarta handles have an amazing feel and grip about them and feel so good in the hand. The handle length fills my large hand giving me complete control of the knife and the jimping is very subtle on the spine. After taking the knife to my strop it was sharp enough to shave with, impressive! The subtle green scales with the emergency orange go great together and good luck loosing it out in the field, BRIGHT! The Izula feels great in hand and feels very stout for such a small knife. the sheath is rock solid and there is absolutely no play of the blade while sheathed. I wished I purchased one years ago and already have my next ESEE knife picked out, or two. If anything the no questioned asked replacement warranty is worth the cost. Now to put the knife to the test and see how many ferro and magnesium rod handles it will fabricate by hand carving them this week. I think I am going to enjoy this knife for a long time to come. Thank you knifeworks for the great deal! I'll be back...

Great knife and a great dealer
I'm not really a knife nut, I just wanted a solid, USA made knife for camping. A lot of reviews led me to the Izula II, and to me it seems perfect. Handle is large enough for a good grip, blade is a handy size, and the unique orange color is a bonus for dark campsites. Really happy with Knifeworks too, packing was quality and shipping was fast.

Good ergonomics
I recently discovered the Esee brand of fixed blade knives. After reading many reviews I purchased my first, an Esee 6. I was so pleased with this blade and grip that I purchased the Izula II. It works as a EDC away from work restrictions and is a great size for belt carry for hunting. Blade is sharp and, although I was concerned about the small size of the grip, it turns out that the ergonomics are very good for my hand. I have continued to check out Esee as one of my first choices when looking for another knife.

Orange you glad you bought this knife !
Orange color is amazing in person . Not too bright ,good contrast with beige micarta scales. Finish is flawless , no gap between scales and knife spine . Razor sharp out of box . Textured coating seems tough , similar to rhino-liner. Was worried about size being too small , I have large hands and it fits my hand nicely. I think closer to a belt knife than neck knife size to me . Esee brand sheath is supremely good quality, no need to upgrade to kydex/ clip is very strong. Buy one with the scales , you won’t regret it .
